A friend of mine plays in the Ghostwriters - they are a great band! I'd love to see them play live but they don't that often at the moment.

I've already heard some of the AT's stuff. It really impressed me.

The Ghostwriters need further investigation as well.

Also, Midnight Oil are still one of the greatest bands I've ever had the privilege to see live, and I'm glad I got to more than once. I still remember standing in their audience watching Peter Garrett flailing around and singing with such conviction, while chills ran down my body and tears down my face.

You should also check out the Angry Tradesmen's debut "Beat The House". I just bought it and it rocks almost as much as they do live (Rob Hirst on stand up drums! I was blown away!). Angry Tradesmen is Rob Hirst, who wrote many of Midnight Oil's songs, Dom Turner from the Backsliders. I love them because they are a rockin' blues and rock and roll band and don't muck around.

Yes that's the perfect way to put it. It would be useful if religion was the root of all evils but it's more base than that.

It's all about wielding ideologies as weapons, no matter what flavour they come in.
